The Science of Changing Your Mind – Understand How to Evolve Your Brain
The brain is a reflection of the environment surrounded by it. It reflects our own personal environment, so the people, the circumstances and all of the events and experiences we’ve ever had is organized in the neurological structure of our brain. That is why we can recognize everything in the world that looks familiar. All of these events, experiences, people, circumstances, are making our brain think. In other words the environment that we’re surrounded by makes our brain think, it turns our brain on firing different circuits. Because the environment causes us to think, we will never think greater than the environment. The change is when you start thinking greater than your environment. If you keep thinking equal to the environment you will get equal results.
Making a change means you have to break the habit of being yourself – meaning you need to act differently in the same events and circumstances. Psychologists say that by the time we’re by our mid 30′s we tend to turn just like our parents, basically you’re most likely to end up like the ones you have been raised around, you’re most likely to end up in the same environment as well. When we’re in our mid 30′s we tend to stop learning, stop experiencing and we start feeling, we evaluate any circumstance or situation based on how it’s going to feel. If we don’t like how any circumstance or situation feels we don’t embrace it. So how much room do we leave for the unknown? The brain is changed by the experiences that we have, if we lack experiences in our life it will lead us to follow the same pattern our parents followed.
Knowledge is the key when you’re trying to change your mind as knowledge forces the brain to work in new ways – don’t think inside of the box – think outside of the box!
If you keep following the same pattern, the same actions and thinking you will never change. Start learning new things and create more experiences, if you want to succeed then think positive at all time and you will get positive results. We can predict our future just by the way we think.
I know what you’re thinking; still, a big change can be really hard to achieve.
Why?
Because when we let our body think, instead of our brain, we’re allowing our body to take control of our lives. So when we think with our body first, we’re telling our brain to think the way we feel, then our body starts thinking the way our brain is thinking and the brain starts thinking the way our body thinks and so on vice versa. A habit is when the body has become the mind. So for the real change is to pull out the mind out of the body and put it back into the brain. It is not easy; it will take an act of strong will.
